Learn about types of housing facilities and the needs in the community.
Learn about legislative issues, challenges to finding housing, and how you can participate in advocacy.

Sue Shimon – Executive Director of New Foundation Center and Board member of the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County
Hugh Brady – Co-president of the North/Northwest Task Force on Supportive Housing for People with Mental Illness and Board member of the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County

This program is free and open to the public at
Journey Care (formerly Midwest Care Center), Administration Building,

2050 Claire Ct, Glenview 60025.

Directions: Take Willow Rd to Ravine Way, which is west of Waukegan Rd and east of Patriot. Ravine Way is at the entrance of North Shore Corporate Park. Turn south on Ravine and then left onto Claire Court. Journey Care is at the very end of Claire Court, which is a winding road.
