Personal Experience with NAMI

Many individuals and families have experienced the incredible support and resources offered by NAMI CCNS. One such family member shared her personal experience:

“I first became involved with NAMI when my husband and I were totally desperate. One of our sons had had a psychotic break. We didn’t know which way to turn and we went to a NAMI play. It was a fundraiser and met the most wonderful people. And from then on, I felt like we were loved and cared for, and they helped us find the right resources.”

“It’s a very if you can say, positive experience. It was like night and day. Having someone there that it was trained to. It’s trained to work with someone with mental illness.”
