Do You Have a Loved One Living with Mental Illness?

The NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program is a FREE 9-week course for families and close friends of adults with mental illness. This course is taught by trained teachers who are also family members and know what it is like to have a loved one living with mental illness, such as major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and other disorders.

Families describe this experience as life-changing. Join the thousands of families like yours who have gained information, understanding, and support.

Fall 2026 Family-to-Family (In-person)

The Fall 2026 Session began on Tuesday, September 29, and runs through Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at The Sisters of Holy Family of Nazareth (310 North River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016).

Winter 2027 Family-to-Family (In-person)

Class 1

Dates: Tuesday, January 5, 2027 – Tuesday, March 2, 2027
Times: 5:30 pm to 8 pm

Class 2

Dates: Thursday, March 4, 2027 – Thursday, April 22, 2027
Times: 6 pm to 8:30 pm
Place: Online
